Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GoSathi mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

GoSathi Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("GoSathi," "we," "our," or "us") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using GoSathi, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must provide a valid Indian mobile number for verification.
You must complete Aadhaar-based KYC verification when prompted.
You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date.
You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

4. Services Offered

4.1 Sathi Commute

A subscription-based daily ride service that matches riders traveling similar routes at similar times. Subscription plans are prepaid, non-refundable (except as required by law), and valid for the specified billing period.

4.2 Sathi Go

An on-demand ride-booking service for bikes, autos, and cars. Pricing is calculated upfront based on distance and vehicle type. GoSathi does not guarantee surge-free pricing during extraordinary circumstances (natural disasters, government-mandated restrictions).

4.3 Sathi Partner

A platform feature that allows vehicle owners to offer rides to other users. Partners are independent contractors and not employees of GoSathi. Guaranteed minimums are subject to meeting activity thresholds as detailed in the Partner Agreement.

5. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. GoSathi supports UPI, credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and GoSathi Wallet.

Subscription charges are billed at the start of each billing cycle.
Unused rides in a subscription do not roll over unless specified in your plan.
Refunds for cancelled rides are processed within 5-7 business days.
GoSathi reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
Harass, threaten, or intimidate any rider, partner, or GoSathi employee.
Tamper with, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
Provide false information during registration or ride booking.
Use the Platform while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

7. Safety

GoSathi is committed to safety but does not guarantee the conduct of any rider or partner. We provide Aadhaar KYC verification, SOS functionality, live tracking, and route deviation alerts as safety features. Users are encouraged to share ride details with emergency contacts.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of GoSathi Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoSathi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. GoSathi's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Chennai, India, under the rules of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The language of arbitration shall be English.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
